End-to-end email encryption. How does it work?
People who want to communicate privately online and want to have ultimate security as well as use the method of end to end encryption. It helps in securing the messaging from both ends and prevents the middle person from ready it from private conversations. When you talk about the end to end encryption, it is not a piece of cake for everyone.
Only the tech savvy people can understand the science behind it as the operations are quite complicated.
E2EE
No one can see you or monitor you when you are using E2EE to send an email or message to anyone. The content which you write is solely between you and the other party without any fear that someone else would be reading it. The government, hackers, companies or any other middle person, no one has access to it which helps in communicating in a better way.
Most of the companies already use end to end encryption as it protects their data and information which they share through emailing or messages. It also protects their servers where all the confidential stays with the organization. For example, when you use the service such as Hotmail or Gmail which does not support E2EE, then it means that they have access to your emails and messages.
They can read it if they want to because they have the rights of encryption keys with them. When you do have an end to end encryption, the service provider is not able to see the message and does not even have the decryption keys. It is a standard and stronger service which you can get connected to.
Public and Private Keys
There are private and public keys which you get. The public key means that the message can be shared with everyone. However, the private one is between two parties only. The individual texts turn into cipher text which has random characters which are scrambled.
As the message is sent, it passes through multiple servers where the other service providers are not able to read the ciphertext, and it does not turn into plaintext which is readable also. It can be only done through the private key which the receiver has it goes into their inbox.
When the receiver wants to reply to the message, he/she has to follow the same procedure through the private key. You keep the secure data when you are using E2EE service as it is not accessible for the hackers. For the big businesses, it is a bonus as they want to keep their strategies and plans confidential. You never have to compromise over your data so make sure that you adopt this service to be safe in the big world of internet.
