The Best Shows on Netflix 2019
It seems like there’s a new show coming out every other week and everyone is constantly talking about the new series. Choosing what to binge watch next can be a bit exhausting, right? There are many shows worth watching on Netflix. Fortunately for you, some shows stand out as the best-received ones by the audience. Whenever you feel stuck, you can have a look at this list of the best shows on Netflix in 2019.
Breaking Bad
Honestly, there is not much to say about this show that has not been previously said. It could be the best show of all time, according to many. This crime drama show has it all – a talented cast, an amazing storyline, and good production. Walter White is a chemistry teacher whose life is falling apart right before his eyes because of financial problems.
He decides that enough is enough when he finds out that he has terminal cancer. He decides to make a lot of money with little time he has left so, naturally, he turns an old RV into a meth lab! If this sentence surprised you, let me tell you that that is just the beginning of this amazingly addictive story.
Stranger Things
Prepare to go back in time and certainly feel a bit nostalgic as this show progresses. Whether you like sci-fi or not, Stranger Things is worth having a look at. This show gained a lot of popularity over the past few years and this is just the beginning. It may even take Breaking Bad’s place when it comes to most loved shows of all time! If you decide to give it a chance (which is strongly recommended) you will go back into the early 1980s and follow the lives of a group of young boys.
When one of them named Will is captured by a mysterious creature and disappears, everyone tries to find him but his friends seemingly have the most luck because they get to meet a young girl who has some superpowers and is able to help them in their search. The group finds out that there are a lot of secrets even in a small town such as theirs.
BoJack Horseman
This animated show with a silly name may seem like just another cartoon, but it would be very wrong to say that. This first animated show created by Netflix is not meant for children. It takes place in a completely different universe where tailless animals and humans live together. BoJack Horsman is a sit-com which tackles various deeper themes and problems, such as depression, even though it may not look like that at a first glance.
The main character is an alcoholic horse in his 50s whose career is no longer blooming and who decides to become a star once again. Follow his journey where he realizes that Hollywood is not exactly the same as it was over a decade ago to see how clever the show actually is.
