Where is cricket played the most?
Cricket is a game which is known to everyone nowadays. It originated from England and is a national sport of that country. However, it is played all across the world in different countries such as Pakistan, Australia, British Isles, West Indies, and India. This game is played with a ball and bat with having two teams of 11 players in each team.
The field is known as pitch and should be in a rectangular size. There are three sticks known as wickets set at the ends of the pitch.
Each team takes turns in batting and bowling with setting a targeted score. The turns are known as innings. It is decided on the field who is going to bat/bowl first with a toss.
One person bowls with another team’s player hitting it with the bat throwing it as far as he can. Until the time the ball gets back, the team players shift sides by running the opposite direction making scores. If the ball goes out of the boundary within the field, they get four points; however if the ball reaches out of the stadium boundary, then the team receives straight six points addition.
The game continues until the over ends depending on the type of match. This game is quite easy to understand but challenging to play as you have to score well not just for your team, but you are representing the entire country in the world.
