How to play Vertix.io
With the popularity in .io games, shooting .io games have become one of the most popular genres. Vertix is yet another browser-based game offering you a unique experience of 2D shooting. This game won’t consume too much processing power, so you can probably run it on almost any computer out there.
You won’t have to do a lot of things to start playing, instead, all you have to do is to go to the official vertix.io website and you will be ready to go from there!
As already mentioned, you’re not required to make an account in order to try this game out. This is a standard thing with all .io games, and you probably expected that.
From the welcome screen, you will have to set up a couple of things before you start playing. First, you have to pick a name for your character. Come up with something unique so you can stand out. Second, you will notice a character drop menu on the right of your screen. There are nine different characters and each carries a different weapon. Pick the one that you think will fit you the best, or just go and play games with each character to figure out how to play with it.
You can also check the controls from the welcome screen, but those are pretty simple and you can get a grasp of it only by playing the game.
It’s not required, but registering an account will help you to track your records and interact with other players, make friends, and play with them.
If you’re not a fan of 2D pixel art you are probably not going to like this game. The whole game is pixel based and you need to have a heart for this kind of games in order to enjoy them. If you’re looking for graphics and design – this is probably not the choice for you. However, this shooting game can be really fun, especially when you’re playing with your friends.
Capture point and “enter-the-zone” maps are especially fun for me since they offer you a different kind of gameplay from traditional “shoot whatever you see”.
The controls are very simple, use WSAD to move and your mouse to aim and shoot. This game also doesn’t require any particular set of skills, it’s very easy to play and fast-paced. This is a big plus if you want to kill a couple of minutes before going out.
One of the biggest pluses for this game is the community. The community and the overall player base is similar to the Krunker.io player base. This is maybe a reason because the two games have the same characters and the same goal. The difference is in one being an FPS and the other one 2D shooting game. However, the big plus is going for the interaction between developers and players, and the unique map editing features.
Overall, this vintage-looking game is decent considering that it’s a browser game. Easy to play, and fast-paced, a great option for those looking for some shooting fun with friends!
